I haven’t seen a silent movie in a bit, soon, soon. I’ve got a real yearning to see one (maybe Buster Keaton or Von Stroheim or something totally offbeat).

    I watch unintended silent movies fairly often, in that I watch movies with the sound turned-down. I find that most movie dialogue is so predictable that one doesn’t need to hear it in order to understand what’s going on.

    One of my all-time favorite movies is an ‘officially’ silent movie, “Sunrise.”
